Christmas Info Product Killer Website almost done.
I have almost finished my I nfo Product KillerChristmas website. It has taken me quite a while, but the more familiar I become with wordpress and the other technicalities the easier it becomes. The site I've built is PresentsForAll.com if you're interested in having a look. If you're in the US you could buy anything I've recommended. Other countries, including my own Australia, not so much because of electrical compatibility issues and other reasons that Amazon won't ship the goods.

Excerpt from Think and Grow Rich
TRULY, "thoughts are things," and powerful things at that, when they are mixed with definiteness of purpose, persistence, and a BURNING DESIRE for their translation into riches, or other material objects. Read my summary of the chapter here and start a discussion.

Afloat in a Sea of Abundance by Rebecca Fine
In the days of the mighty sailing ships, when brave souls voyaged into the unknown, dependent on the winds and their as-yet incomplete knowledge of geography and navigation, one of the greatest and most dangerous challenges was to traverse the area known as "the doldrums." Read the rest of this entertaining, but thought provoking article by clicking here. It demonstrates how what you believe may have little basis in reality. What opportunities are you missing?

Feeling Gratitude To Create Abundance
Do you ever get mad at your teenager because they are soooo ungrateful for everything you do for them? I know I do... Maybe you don't have teenagers, but I'm sure you can relate to doing something for or giving something to someone and they don't even bother to say "thank you"? Read more on feeling gratitude here.

Easy Strategies that Help You Lose Weight
Are you seeking a sure-fire weight loss method without all the rules and trappings of the latest fad diets? If so, you'll relish this good news: Losing weight doesn't have to be complicated! It can be fun and easy if you do it the right way.
The main reason why people don't lose weight, even when they plan to, is because it feels overwhelming. If you can make it less overwhelming, you're more likely to see success.
If you look at your weight loss in small steps, it becomes much more manageable and feels like something you can do. Mindset is everything when it comes to losing weight, so don't assume that you aren't capable. You can do anything you put your mind to, including losing those extra pounds.
Weight loss goals that are too large - like trying to lose 50 pounds - may stop you in your tracks. They seem impossible, so you give up before you even start. You might not feel like you can lose 50 pounds, but can you lose one pound? What about two or five? Those sound like better numbers, and they aren't so frightening.
If you lose only one pound per week, you can achieve your 50-pound weight loss goal in less than a year. At two pounds per week, that timeline would come down to only six months. That's a realistic time frame and a reasonable goal.
Another thing that stops people from losing weight is that they don't know how. You can learn how to lose weight properly, though, and it'll help you feel oh-so-much better about yourself! More confidence is an attractive quality, no matter what weight you are, so the sooner you feel better about yourself, the sooner it'll start showing to the world.
Diet and exercise are still the keys to weight loss, but you shouldn't look at them as short-term, painful things that you must suffer through until you reach your goal. That's not the way to lose weight and keep it off, so avoid that mindset.
Instead, make small changes that you can implement easily into your daily routines. Those changes will make a big difference over time.
Here are some easy strategies you can use to lose weight and start a new, healthier lifestyle:
Reaching your weight loss goals can seem daunting, but you can accomplish them without feeling deprived, stressed, or unhappy. There's no better time than the present to get started. Then, one day soon, you'll realize how much more enjoyable life is with your healthy lifestyle.

- Cut out just one snack or 'bad' food. You don't have to change your entire way of eating overnight. You can do it by changing one food, snack, or meal at a time.
- Find a fun way to get some light exercise. You might not feel comfortable at the gym, but you can walk in place while you watch TV, pedal a stationary bicycle, or stroll around the block with a friend or family member.
- Get help. There are plenty of support groups for people who want to lose weight. Some of them can be found online, just a click away. If that's not for you, get a friend or family member to encourage and help you with your goals.
- Encourage and reward yourself. As you lose weight, remember that your new eating patterns and exercise choices will become a way of life for you. This is a long-term solution that will be worth it as your waistline decreases and your health improves. Give yourself a treat as you reach each small goal, and plan for what you'll do as the new, thinner you.
Reaching your weight loss goals can seem daunting, but you can accomplish them without feeling deprived, stressed, or unhappy. There's no better time than the present to get started. Then, one day soon, you'll realize how much more enjoyable life is with your healthy lifestyle.

Do More in Less Time - And Have More Time for Yourself
Getting things done brings such a great feeling of accomplishment, but it can also be overwhelming if the task seems insurmountable. Sometimes, the days just don't seem long enough to do everything we want to do. When that happens, worry can set in, but it doesn't have to!
You can do more than you ever thought was possible, and in less time too, giving yourself time to relax and really enjoy life!
It all begins with a solid foundation of time management and scheduling. It's okay if you're not a good time manager right now, you can learn to be. It just takes a little bit of practice and you'll soon be getting more and more done.
When you see how much you're accomplishing, you'll work even harder during your busy times, and enjoy those down times more thoroughly.
These scheduling strategies will help you become an expert manager of your time:

When you see how much you're accomplishing, you'll work even harder during your busy times, and enjoy those down times more thoroughly.
These scheduling strategies will help you become an expert manager of your time:
- Schedule your life for maximum benefit. You can avoid procrastination and the big stressed-out rush to meet a deadline by scheduling each day and using just a bit of self-discipline to stick to your schedule.
- It helps to break things down into smaller tasks. For example, do you have a big presentation coming up at work in two weeks? Don't try to do it the night before it's due. Start now. Working for just a half hour each day can help you get that presentation done with plenty of time to spare.
- By scheduling your day according to your priorities, you can better utilize the time that you might otherwise have wasted doing unproductive things, like watching television or waiting for the next item on your to-do list to come to you.
- Disallow doubts from getting in your way. That little voice in the back of your mind that tells you, "It's too much work," or "It's not going to happen," doesn't know what it's talking about!
- You can do anything you set your mind to. Keep that thought in mind as you go through your day. The more you think it - or even say it out loud - the more you'll internalize and believe it.
- When you remind yourself how much you're capable of doing, you'll work harder so you can reap the rewards of being done with work.
- No matter how you reward yourself, make it a point to do so regularly. Finished that presentation? Take the evening off and watch your favorite movie! Whatever reward works for you is a good one - as long as the work's done first.
- Recognize when you're getting stressed and why. Sometimes, in an effort to get more done, you'll find that you aren't getting the time for yourself that you'd hoped for. When this happens, stop and reassess your schedule.
- Are you following your agenda? Are you productive during your scheduled working times? Are you meeting your goals? Where can you make changes for better success?
- Do you concentrate and get your work done during your working hours? If not, you may find that you still have to work when you should be relaxing. This is a vicious circle that leaves you feeling stressed, while getting nowhere.
- Eliminate your stressors while building in stress relief. Think about the following as you go about your workday:
- By focusing during working hours, you'll complete each task much sooner. Get your drudgery tasks out of the way as quickly as possible to make more time for more enjoyable tasks.
- Work time is for work only - so avoid distractions. Ringing phones and other issues can stop you from accomplishing your work. Forward calls to your voice mail and establish "do not disturb" times. You'll be amazed at how much work you can get done without distractions!
- If you complete your tasks early, keep working until your schedule says it's time to stop. Perhaps you can tackle some work for the next day to get ahead. Being a little ahead gives you the flexibility to take care of inevitable emergencies without falling behind in productivity.
- Recognize when you need a break. People are not machines so your schedule should reflect that. Realistic break times should be part of even the busiest schedule.

Avoiding Unhealthy Intimate Relationships
Love - to love and be loved - is one of the greatest joys of the human life experience. Unfortunately, it can also go very wrong. You could end up abused, neglected, and miserable - or worse.
It's important to make wise choices in your relationships so your experiences with love can bring joy and fulfillment to your life.
Letting your heart rule your head is romantic, but you can keep yourself safe, both emotionally and physically, by making sure your head is at least involved in the decision making. When it comes to romantic partners, spotting any red flags that appear will help you have only healthy, strong relationships.
Another important consideration is your personal desire for a relationship. What, specifically, are you searching for? Are you doing the right things and going to the places that will attract someone who's a good fit for you? Or are you just looking for anyone?
Finding the Right Person Through Understanding Yourself
When you're looking for Mr. or Ms. Right, there are techniques you can use that will contribute to your success in finding who you're looking for. The first thing you should do is to ensure you're ready for the kind of relationship you're looking for.
Here are some ways to prepare for a great relationship:
Healthy relationships come in all types and sometimes they aren't romantic. The friends you have, the people you work with, and even the family members you spend the most time with can all impact how you feel about yourself and your life.
The truth is, intimacy is far more than romance. Intimacy is a closeness of mind, body, and soul that fulfills all dimensions and needs. So if you're feeling an imbalance or you're feeling used, confront the other person or get out of the relationship. All intimate relationships must be mutually beneficial, healthy, and happy.
Choosing relationships wisely can really make an important difference in your life. People who care for you will support and uplift you, rather than drag you down. Surround yourself with people who support you and share your goals, dreams, and values.
When you avoid harmful relationships, you'll gain a healthy confidence that will benefit both your physical and mental health. Keep these relationship red flags and tips in mind so you can attract positive, healthy people into your life!

Here are some ways to prepare for a great relationship:
- Be comfortable with being alone. Are you content with being on your own? Any romantic relationship you enter into should be because you care about that person and yourself. If it's only to avoid being lonely, it's probably not the best choice for you.
- Know what you want out of life. When looking for a person to share your life with, you want one who shares your goals, dreams, and values. Avoid settling for less because your long-term happiness could be affected - and so could the happiness of your partner.
- Stay focused on your goals. Giving up your dreams and desires for someone else seldom works well. Seek out a person who encourages you to pursue your dreams. When you've found one, that's someone worth paying attention to!
- Remember it's not a race. Choosing someone just so you aren't alone is unfair to both of you. The person you're looking for will appear when the time is right. Avoid trying to force it. Your time will come, when you least expect it! As hard as it may be, try to be patient.

Achieving Goals That Really Matter
Goal setting is one of the best ways to get ahead in life - but only if you're setting your goals effectively!
Are you trying for unattainable goals that you aren't really passionate about? Do you quickly give up on your goals? It can be easy to get discouraged, but you don't have to end up there!
With the right strategies, you can set goals that really matter to you and meet them more easily than you ever imagined.
Most importantly, your goals should be yours and not someone else's. The goals that your parents, friends, and family members have for you may not be the same for yourself.
What's Important to YOU?
Too many people set goals to be rich, write a best-selling novel, or marry someone who's famous, wealthy, or otherwise important or influential. If those are truly your dreams, there's nothing wrong with them. However, if they're just society's dreams - and not yours - let them go, and think about what really matters to you. What do you want out of your life?
When you're setting goals, stop and ask yourself, "What will bring me joy, beauty and happiness?"
Your goals might include things like:
No matter what you choose or how many goals you have, you can reach them if you're dedicated and committed to making them happen.
Once you've decided what really matters to you and you set your goals, you can begin to make them a reality in your life. Although your goals will take some work, watching them come into fruition is exciting and satisfying!
Follow these tips to help you achieve your goals:
These strategies will enable you to not only reach your goal, but also enjoy the journey along the way - all without getting overwhelmed!

Making Your Dreams Come True
Once you've decided what really matters to you and you set your goals, you can begin to make them a reality in your life. Although your goals will take some work, watching them come into fruition is exciting and satisfying!
Follow these tips to help you achieve your goals:
- Keep your focus. Keep a picture of the life you desire at the forefront of your mind. When frivolous things try to distract you, as they will, remember to make choices according to what's really important to you.
- Take action toward your goal every day. Each day, find something you can do that will bring you a little closer to meeting your goal.
- When challenges arise, getting discouraged won't change anything, so seek solutions that can put you back on track. Just stay focused and adjust your plans as necessary.
- Be open to change. Your goals aren't set in stone. If you choose to change what you're focused on and set a new goal, that doesn't mean you've given up on your goals. It only means you've seen that your goals need to change, just as you change. That's a sign of growth and wisdom.
- Set realistic timelines. Some goals can be met in a day or a week, but larger goals often take months or years. When you set goals, it's important to be realistic about how long you expect them to take.
- If it's too far away, you might procrastinate, or you may not start at all.
- If it's too soon, you'll be frustrated and discouraged if you don't make your deadline.
- Divide your goal into small steps. Another great way to reach your goals is to divide big goals into smaller ones. Each small goal is one step, or one task, on the way to achieving your ultimate goal.
- Set individual deadlines for these small steps. This way, you'll always be moving forward, one step at a time.
- For example, if your goal is to own your own business, there are things you'll need to look into like licensing, income, credit, location, and others. Each one of these tasks is one step. You could also subdivide these steps into even smaller goals.
- Avoid giving up. Many people give up on their goals just before they reach them, not even realizing how close they were. Never give up! You may be closer than you think.
These strategies will enable you to not only reach your goal, but also enjoy the journey along the way - all without getting overwhelmed!

Being optimistic might seem like a large task, but there are simple things you can do to improve your outlook. If you practice each day, you'll be doing yourself a great favor, since your mindset is the very foundation for achieving success and fulfillment.
Here are some easy techniques you can use to boost your optimism:
- Avoid getting hung up on one thing. Sometimes you may feel like there's one situation that's holding you back. Maybe there's just one thing that has seemingly ruined your day. Resolve to let it go so it doesn't bother you anymore. After all, there's a whole world out there just waiting for you to experience!
- Remember that there's always a silver lining. If you're having a bad week, it's not a reason to let negativity cloud your thinking. Seek the silver lining in every challenging situation. Remember that setbacks often occur right before you reach success.
- Get over the past. Remember that the past is the past; it doesn't need to keep repeating itself. In fact, if you keep recalling the past, you are the one taking it with you into your future. Learn how to let it go no matter how painful it might have been. The future can be filled with great things, but a great future can only start when you've come to terms with your past.
- Be thankful. Make a list of all the things you're thankful for in your life. Include even the smallest things, like the lucky penny you found on the street or the loving hug your partner gave you today. You'll most likely end up with a long list that you can look to whenever you feel like you're slipping into negativity.
- Use positive affirmations. Nothing brings out optimism like the use of affirmations. These positive statements bring optimistic energy into your present. They are a way of communicating with your subconscious mind so you can maintain control over how you feel. Use them every day and every time you need a boost of positivity.
- Surround yourself with positive people. Humans are social beings that can feel the energy of others. Have fun with positive and supportive friends and family members. Just being around positive people can lift you up when you're feeling down.
- Watch your language. Do you speak positively to yourself and others, or are you judgmental and negative? Try to shift over to only positive speech. Practice using upbeat words while you focus on the positive in every situation.
- Remember that even a positive life has ups and downs. Life won't always be perfect, but there are many ways you can still make the best of it. Accept the fact that bad things will happen from time to time, but avoid dwelling on these things. You'll bounce back if you remain open to optimism.
In the end, you'll find that simple things can boost your optimism. You don't need to wait for some grand opportunity; just open your eyes to the beauty of the world around you and you'll see wonderful things!

Here are some more ideas on how to find happiness during retirement:
- Do something that makes you laugh. You can have a great time in retirement by focusing on the simple things that make you laugh. Maybe you'll enjoy playing games with your grandkids or catching a comedy at the local cinema.
- Keep yourself active. When you maintain an active routine, it keeps you in shape, which helps you feel healthy and happy. Do whatever is in your power to keep your mind and body active so that you can enjoy your retirement to its fullest.
- Develop a new hobby. You can enjoy a new hobby leisurely or develop it to an expert level. If an old pastime doesn't make you happy anymore, then try something new.
- Spend time with the people that matter. Many people say that one of the toughest things about working is not having enough time to spend with family members. Now that you don't have to work anymore, get together with your family and friends often and create cherished new memories together.
- Have a positive attitude. Always strive to have a positive attitude about life. When you're negative and closed off, you won't be open to new opportunities. There are many accomplishments you can still make throughout your lifetime, so why waste time with a negative attitude?
- Find a new job. If you like working, there's no reason that you have to stop doing it. You can create your own unique work opportunities during retirement.
If you don't need to worry about money, then you can get any job you enjoy including volunteering at the library, church, or community center.
Perhaps you've always wanted to start your own small business. Retirement is a great time to get involved in a new venture. - Take the time to travel. If you're the adventurous type, you may find much happiness in traveling the world. If you don't have a lot of extra cash, look into frugal travel ideas. For example, there are many group tours that cater to those who don't mind skipping some luxuries to save on the cost.
The key to finding happiness in your retirement is to take action toward the things you enjoy. It's tempting to do nothing, which can be fun from time to time, but overall it's an active life that brings the most pleasure and fulfillment.

7 Ways to Cope With Your Anger
Attaining a healthy, well-balanced mindset is crucial to a rewarding lifestyle. But, much too often, anger gets the best of you and forces you to make hasty decisions that would otherwise seem outrageous.
Reacting angrily to infuriating situations is expected. However, if your anger has a strong hold on you, all it takes is a little nudge to cross the line. A paper jam in the printer, your husband's wandering eye, or loud neighborhood children can all be catalysts to an unnecessary outburst of anger.
The good news is that you can conquer your anger! You can learn alternative measures of stress relief! You can strengthen your relationship with your spouse and children! And you will learn how to free yourself from the all-consuming anger that affects your everyday decisions!
These strategies will help you overcome your anger:
Ultimately, ensuring that your reactions are based on reason, rather than emotion, is the most effective method of coping with anger. Emotionally detaching yourself from the situation at hand allows you to clear the smokescreen of personal resentment and focus on creating an amicable outcome. These strategies will help you overcome your anger:
- Detach from the situation. If you're in a situation where your blood is beginning to boil, excuse yourself from the room. Grab a bottle of water, get some fresh air, or even call a friend to vent. Allowing yourself a few minutes to strategize an amicable approach to the challenge will enable you to strive for diplomacy.
- Put yourself in his shoes. Marital arguments can often get out of hand. Before you blurt out a vindictive phrase, think about his feelings. Even seemingly insignificant phrases, such as, "You're such a momma's boy," or "You don't do anything for this family," can pack a big punch.
Seek a solution, not a debate. If he's a momma's boy, ask him to focus his attention on you and the kids. If he spends too much time on the golf course, tell him how much you miss your weekly date night. - Envision the outcome. Giving your boss a piece of your mind may lead to being terminated. Biting your tongue may pose a challenge, but the security of a weekly paycheck is well worth the effort.
If your boss is placing unnecessary pressure on you, respectfully ask for more control over your responsibilities by asserting the reasons you're a trustworthy employee. - Ask for assistance. If you're angry about a printer malfunction or not being able to unfreeze your computer, simply ask for help. Most people like to feel needed and asking for their expertise in a certain area will not only boost their confidence, but will also give you a simple solution to your challenge.
Examine their approach to the issue and remember the steps so you can remedy the situation in the future. - Calmly explain your feelings. Take some time to compose yourself and think about what truly set off the flame. Sometimes, anger is a defensive mechanism to prevent the world from knowing your feelings have been hurt. Remember, it's perfectly acceptable to be vulnerable. If you feel disrespected or hurt, you deserve to have the issue addressed.
- Take the high road. Retaliation is a sign of immaturity. If someone has intentionally wronged you, they likely did so in order to squeeze a frantic reaction out of you. Show them that you're the reasonable party in the situation by being calm, cool, and collected.
- Laugh it up. When you're frustrated, your body needs to exert energy. You typically default to exerting negative energy. But, negative reactions add more fuel to the fire. Diffuse the argument by laughing. Laughter allows you to expel energy, while internally easing your frustration as the body recognizes laughter as a sign of joy.

Whether you're battling work stress every day or just once in awhile, there are some effective techniques you can use to relieve it. Learning healthy ways to release your stress and even how to prevent a stressful reaction in the first place are critical to your health, success, and peace of mind.
Here are some strategies to combat work stress:
- Practice effective communication. If coworkers are causing you stress, ask yourself, "Why?" There's a good chance that the two of you aren't really communicating.
Put yourself in their shoes to better understand their point of view.
Listen to their needs and see if they can be met. If you can satisfy their requirements, a source of conflict is removed and so is the stress associated with it.
Also, if you can better communicate your own needs, others are more likely to agree with your requests. - Think positively. When things turn sour, you may be tempted to fall into a negative pattern of thinking. It's easy to say that you hate your job, but are you doing anything to improve the situation? If you adopt a positive attitude, it'll be easier to maintain the drive you need to overcome problems at work.
It's quite possible that everything at work is not as bad as you think! If you focus on the things that are going right, it'll bring you more patience, less stress, and increase your overall job satisfaction. - Take care of yourself. If you're really dedicated to your job, you may begin to lose yourself in it. No wonder you're under a great deal of stress! You may feel as if your job has become your whole life. In these instances, it's best to take a step back and focus on taking care of yourself.
Take regular breaks and enjoy something that's not work-related when you're not working.
Avoid working overtime or taking work home with you. On rare occasions, it may cause you less stress to stay and finish a project, rather than be late in completing it. However, it might also help you to work on strengthening your time management skills if this occurs frequently.
Take care of your body by exercising, eating nutritious foods, and getting enough sleep. While that sounds so simple, how often do we rush around on 4 hours of sleep, a coffee, and a donut all day long? - Accept that everyone's human, including you. The drive to be perfect is an automatic stress inducer! Everyone makes mistakes - you, your coworkers, and your clients.
Trust that other people will get the job done right. You and your team can still produce quality work, even with an occasional mistake. If you remain flexible, you'll be less likely to feel stress.
- Understand other points of view. When you know where someone is coming from, you'll be better able to understand the situation without all the stress. For example, if you can understand your manager's expectations, you can take action to meet them, or you can communicate your own more realistic expectations.
- Get organized. Organization can be a key factor for job stress relief. If your workplace is disorganized, it can also cause disorganization in your mind. Your thoughts may become scattered and you'll be less likely to think on your feet effectively, causing even more stress.
- Take responsibility. If you take responsibility for your actions, you can also reduce stress. When you keep yourself accountable, you'll be focused on constant self-improvement without the lies, blame, or cover-ups.

Life balance is about knowing when to give a little more effort, when it's time to call it quits, and when everything feels just right.
These six tips will help you strike a better balance in life:
- Make time for you. Realize that you're important and valuable. Taking care of your happiness (and sanity) is an essential part of creating a balanced life. Even if for just two hours each week, put everyone else's needs aside and focus on you!
Take a candlelit bubble bath while having a glass of wine and catching up on your favorite Hollywood gossip. Or, maybe just take your dog to the park on a sunny afternoon. Do whatever helps you unwind and enter a mindset of total relaxation. - Strive for a healthy lifestyle. Both exercise and a conscious diet are necessary in order to remain healthy and happy. Set aside 30-minutes each week to exercise. Your workout can be anything under the sun, as long as it keeps you active.
If eating healthy is a challenge, avoid bringing unhealthy food into your home. You can't be tempted if it isn't around the house. Not only will it keep your heart healthy and your waistline under control, it'll promote healthy eating habits in your children. - Leave work in the office. There's a reason you have a work schedule: your employer is only willing to pay you for a specific amount of time each day. Do your family a favor and leave work at work. Avoid overworking yourself if there isn't a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
If you find that there aren't enough hours in the workday to maintain your responsibilities, find a way to strengthen your productivity while at the office. If this proves to be fruitless, explain your situation to your employer. He may be willing to pay you for an extra hour each day or lessen your workload. - Make time for love. Rekindle the romance by making thoughtful gestures. Bring home a candle in her favorite scent, send roses to the workplace, or maybe even hire a maid so your wife can spend more time doing the things she loves. Spend quality, uninterrupted time with your spouse.
Simply watching TV together isn't enough. Send the kids over to grandma's house for a weekend and plan a romantic getaway. If you're on a budget, plan a romantic camping trip. Nothing says romance like 2-days in the wild. - Live within your means. If your finances are causing you stress, it's time to reassess your budget. Make budget cuts in order to proactively work towards achieving your financial goals.
Eliminate obvious splurges, such as cable television upgrades and pricey cell phone plans. Cut down on your energy bill by turning down the thermostat and doing laundry less frequently or during non-peak hours.
As a final resort, you may need to sell your home or downgrade to a cheaper rental. Sure, it's nice to have granite countertops and sprawling acreage, but can you go without? You sure can. Live within your means and feel the relief it brings! - Socialize. Hanging out with friends allows you to unwind and have a few laughs. Make it a point to meet up with friends at least once each month. Go out to dinner or host a get together in your home.
If your spouse is jealous, double dating is a great opportunity to include him in your social life.
